Many of you have heard about Kotlin programming language. Lately Gett for the second time hosted the Kotlin TLV meetup group.
As usual, the meetup consisted of two presentations.
The first talk, by Alexey Soshin, an architect at Gett, was focusing on coroutines in Kotlin. Coroutines were introduced in Kotlin 1.1, and are an excellent alternative to native threads.
The second talk, by Alexandre Gherschon, was dedicated to Anko, an Android library developed by JetBrains, that simplifies Android development with Kotlin. This library also supports coroutines as of the latest versions.
